Where is C'est la vie located?
We’re proudly based in New Tecumseth, Ontario, Canada. While we serve our local community, we also offer online shopping and shipping across Canada and the United States.
Are you a verified Jeweler?
Yes! C’est la Vie Jewellery is a verified business on Google and Meta. Deanna, the owner, is also a GIA Accredited Jewellery Professional, ensuring trusted knowledge and expertise.
What makes our jewelry different than others?

Orders & Shipping
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes, we ship across Canada and to the United States. All orders are shipped securely with tracking and insurance where available. Please note: as of August 29, 2025, the U.S. has removed its de minimis exemption. This means all U.S. orders, regardless of value, may be subject to duties, taxes, or fees at the border. These charges are determined by U.S. Customs and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Ready-to-ship pieces usually leave our studio within 2–4 business days. Delivery times depend on your location, typically 3–7 business days in Canada and 7–14 business days for U.S. orders. Personalized Jewelry is made to order and take 3-4 weeks to fulfil and then would be shipped to your location.
Do you offer free shipping or local pick up?
Yes! We offer free standard shipping on orders over $200. Local pickup in New Tecumseth is also available by appointment.
Custom & Bridal
Can I create a custom engagement ring with you?
Absolutely. We love bringing your vision to life. From design sketches to stone selection and CAD models, we’ll guide you every step of the way.
Do you use lab-grown and natural diamonds?
Yes, we offer both lab-grown and natural diamonds. You choose what best matches your budget, style, and values. We’ll educate you on the differences.
How long does a custom order take?
Custom projects usually take 3–6 weeks depending on design complexity, sourcing, and your approval timeline. We’ll provide an estimated timeline once your design is confirmed.
Do you require a deposit for custom pieces?
Yes, a non-refundable design deposit is required to begin custom work. This is applied toward your final balance once your piece is completed.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return/ exchange policy?
Ready-to-ship jewellery may be returned for store credit or exchange within 14 days if unworn and in original condition. Custom, personalized, or engraved items are final sale.
Do your pieces come with a warranty?
Yes, all pieces include a limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects. We also provide cleaning, inspections, and repair services to keep your jewellery sparkling.

Are you affiliated with “C’est la Vie New York”?
No. We are not connected in any way to “C’est la Vie New York” or other similarly named websites. If you see 80% off ads or sympathy stories, they are scams. We’re proudly based in Ontario, Canada. Visit our important notice for more information on this.
